Cast Country is a world class modern hippie country band. Blending Jim Goodman on his 12 string with son Joshua on the ukulele and Paul Sutherland on the peddle steel guitar, John Chermesino on bass, and Philip Datore drums. You will be sure to experience high quality lead vocalists, absolutely beautiful original music, and lots of fun!

Derek Thomas is a local jazz artist, having played shows all over the Greater Sacramento area under the name Thomas & Plecker. Shows include: Concert In The Park series in Roseville, Marriott Hotel in SF, Naked Lounge on H, and the Penthouse of the Elks Lodge in Sacramento to name a few.


Playing jazz & soul, but have adopted several contemporary songs into their set list. Musical  style influenced by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, John Mayer, and many other greats, yet have a sound entirely their own.

Rachel Lauren was born to sing. After making her stage debut in musical theater at the age of five, she excitedly exclaimed to her mother, “Do you mean I can do this for the rest of my life?” At the age of 15, after more than 25 musical theater productions, Rachel discovered Jazz.  She recently graduated from the USC Thornton School of Music as a Music Industry and Jazz major. On the honors list all four years, Rachel was also the recipient of the prestigious Lamont Dozier Scholar award her Junior year. Rachel has toured the world performing. She has been seen on the David Letterman show and featured at Grammys, major USC events and David Fosters Starry Night.

Guitarist Stephen Holland

Florencia Dunayevich, vocals, and Stephen Holland, vocals and guitar, will present an afternoon of music from South America, as well as a handful of Stephen's original works.  As a duo they are known as Canela Negra.  Brazilian classic bossa nova, baião, and samba, as well as Argentine milongas, Afro-Cuban lullabies, and Peruvian dances make up their repertoire.  Florencia grew up in Buenos Aires as has sung many of these pieces all her life.  Stephen has travelled extensively in Brazil, Mexico, and Peru, collecting folklore and performing.  They reside in the Nevada City area.
